Bought Today

Terms of Use

Bought Today · Effective date: October 15, 2026

The service

Bought Today is a record-keeping tool that organizes and reminds you about the return dates you set, receipts and warranties for things you buy.

Pricing and purchases

  • The app and its basic features are free. You can track up to 5 items in progress (Deciding or Returning), and return and warranty reminders and backups are free.
  • Bought Today Pro is a one-time purchase for Lifetime access. It lets you track any number of items in progress and keep receipt and product photos. It's not a subscription and doesn't renew.
  • With or without Pro, you can always view, edit, sort out and back up the purchases and photos you've already added.

Payment, refunds and restoring purchases

  • Payment is made through your App Store or Google Play account. The price is the local price the store shows on the purchase screen.
  • For App Store purchases, you can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, request one from your Google Play order history or contact us. Refunds follow each store's policies.
  • If you reinstall the app or switch devices, tap “Restore purchases” with the same store account to get your purchase back. Purchases don't transfer between the App Store and Google Play.

Keeping your records

Your records are stored only on this device, and there's no copy on our servers. They can be lost if your device is lost or damaged, or if you delete or reset the app, and we can't recover them. Keep important records separately using the app's export or backup options.

Please note

Bought Today only reminds you of the dates you set. It doesn't decide whether an item can be returned or refunded. Return, exchange and warranty terms differ by store and manufacturer, so check your order details or the store's information.

Acceptable use

Please don't use the app to infringe other people's rights or to break the law.

When a photo includes other people, please respect their consent and privacy.

Changes to the app

Features may change with app updates. We'll announce important changes in the app update notes or on this page.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect damages arising from using the app. This doesn't limit liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or any consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

Store terms

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies; if from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Apple and Google aren't parties to these terms and aren't responsible for supporting the app.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. If these terms change, we'll update this page and let you know through an app update. These terms apply from October 15, 2026.
